In each volume, technical information is provided, which will greatly enhance readers' understanding of the magnitude of the achievements. The images, a mix of photos and diagrams, are of good quality and often demonstrate the concepts explained in the text, rather than merely depicting them. VERDICT History meets STEM in these thorough volumes. A fine addition to most collections.
